Jason Harrington, a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Vermilion Parish, Louisiana, blends South Louisiana’s Cajun and Creole influences with singer-songwriter traditions. Inspired by legends like Bob Dylan, Clifton Chenier, and Slim Harpo, Jason’s music explores societal themes and the human condition through unique perspectives. His notable works include solo albums Storm on the River (2007) and In Terms of Major Roots (2014), and three albums with his band Specklers. A versatile performer, he has collaborated with prominent South Louisiana bands and artists. Currently, he tours with Poisson Rouge and is working on a new solo album, championing the underdog through his music.
